瑞士城市之夏｜2023纳沙泰尔国际奇幻电影节今日启幕
纳沙泰尔州有理由为其丰富而有趣的历史感到自豪。拉绍德封（La Chaux-de-Fonds）和勒洛克（Le Locle）以其众多的世界知名钟表制造厂而跻身联合国教科文组织认定的世界遗产地，拉泰尔（Laténium）则有着多处考古遗址。让该州同样闻名遐迩的还有它美丽的自然风光、壮丽的湖泊（瑞士境内的最大湖泊）、当地的景观、气候，以及文化和社会生活，这些都让纳沙泰尔州充满了魅力。

Summer in Swiss Cities!
Neuchâtel
The canton of Neuchâtel is rightly proud of its rich and intriguing history, from the towns of La Chaux-de-Fonds and le Locle – which figure among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites with its numerous world-renown watch manufactures – to the archaeological sites of the Laténium. The canton is equally renowned for the beauty of its natural setting, its majectic lake (the largest 100% Swiss lake), its landscape and climate, and the cultural and social life which make it so attractive.
The capital of the canton is also called Neuchâtel and is the Swiss home of La Soleille Family Office. It offers throughout the year – but especially in summer – a number of festivals of international standard.
Today's edition of Summer in Swiss Cities focuses on the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) from June 30th until July 8th, which enjoys an international reputation and attracts a large audience of all ages to Neuchâtel. All visitors are united by their interest in the film genre "fantastic films"! Because this festival is mainly dedicated to one genre - fantastic film. Asian cinema and digital creation are the two additional themes that complete the picture.
The Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival (NIFFF) was launched in 2000 and is now internationally renowned as one of the world's most important film festivals for "fantastic / fantasy" genre cinema. The NIFFF is defined by a rich and varied programme built around three central axes: Fantastic Cinema, Asian Cinema and Digital Images. The films screened at the festival are very diverse and range from great works by well-known directors to unknown auteur films and films from the underground. Famous directors of fantastic film have already graced the NIFFF with their presence, including George A. Romero, Joe Dante, John Landis, Terry Gilliam and Hideo Nakata.
The NIFFF offers five competitions: an international competition, an Asian competition, a Best Swiss Short Film Competition, a Best European Short Film Competition and a Swiss Video Art Competition entitled Actual Fears.
While most of the films are shown in the classic cinema hall, there are also "open air" screenings on Neuchâtel's beautiful market square, some of which are free of charge. Around it there are food trucks and other animations. A week of international films for all ages, almost directly on the beautiful lake and with a lot of accompanying programme!
