我有写新年决心的习惯，每年的12月31号，我跨年的喜悦是从我的新年决心开始的。从2013年开始进入家族办公室领域，到今年2020年，不觉已经整整八个年头了，不禁让人感叹，时间都到哪里去了？回首2019年，30多个国际航段，60多个国内航段，如同2018年，我的2019一如既往的有3个月的时间是在路上度过的：拖着行李箱在各个机场航站楼匆匆赶路的身影，饥不择食的在快餐店抓个汉堡边吃边开电话会议，倒着时差加着班，中国与瑞士的各种会，几乎24小时在线的处理工作，吃着瑞士的奶酪，惦记着中国的烧串……2019，这一年，也是历历在目，过的无比生动。以至于朋友找我，第一句话总是问：你，人在哪里？
很多私行领域的朋友不解，问我是怎么handle这满天飞的生活与工作，问我到底是怎么做到的？说实话，我也不知道。我只知道，对于家族办公室事业，我的内心是热爱的。心想着，如果在我的努力下能帮忙中国几个家族实现家族传承，这是一件非常有意义且无限功德的事情。同时，能与瑞士这样一个美好的国家结缘，我始终觉得自己很幸运：不仅是瑞士的好山好水，更是这里对于不同文化的尊重与包容，和无条件的善意，尤其是瑞士人对陌生人的不被惊扰的人性化的关爱，让我这个来自中国的异乡人，在这里感受到了家乡的归属感。
记得初到瑞士时，有天朋友带我去洛桑旁边的拉瓦葡萄园品酒，望着日内瓦湖，湖中帆船点点，远山层黛，山顶白雪如娇，让人不胜欢喜；日光一泻千里的在湖面跳跃，偶有飞鸟轻轻落在身旁，还有这杯中佳酿。此情此景，我激动的几乎热泪盈眶，于是在微信朋友圈留下一句话：如果有一天，我即将老去，请把我埋葬，埋葬在这时光里……因为被感动了，所以就爱了；因为爱了，所以就去做了，而做了就想把它做好。金牛座的天分开始发挥作用，觉得受人所托，不忍辜负，只能马不停蹄地去使命必达。

即使热爱，在开始时的艰辛是一点也不会少的。记得在头三年刚到中国开拓家办业务，个中滋味是五味杂陈实属不易：在2013年，那时大家都还不知道什么是家族办公室，每次客户拜访，我要花一半的时间去解释什么是家办，很多客户以为我是销售办公家具或办公软件的。那段日子是孤独无助的，也是清凉凄苦的，犹如在黑暗中独自行走，你听得到自己的脚步声和呼吸声，周围一片漆黑，用脚步去丈量距离，就是这段日子的真实写照。没有同伴，没有指引，没有鼓励，没有支持，什么都没有，只有你自己的信念，坚定的认为，黎明很快会到来。
我想讲一个3厘米的故事——“竹子用了4年，仅仅长高3厘米。而从第五年开始，以每天30厘米的速度疯狂生长，仅仅六周就长到了15米。有多少人，没有熬过这3厘米。” 作为地球上生长最快的木科植物，竹子，创造了一个奇迹：为了拥抱阳光，用四年的时间深深扎根，把触角伸向脚下最黑暗的土地，这几乎是每一个成功的创业故事的脚本，也是雷梭勒在中国家办市场八年开荒的真实写照。
作为国内几家商学院的特邀客座讲师，我定期会去商学院做关于瑞士家族传承的分享，多次被问到，为什么我可以坚持到现在？为什么雷梭勒在中国的家族传承领域已有相当的知名度，而不是国内企业家所熟悉的瑞士知名银行的家办？说白了，就是“坚持”两个字。八年的坚守，雷梭勒把绝大多数对手都熬死在半路上了。作为来自瑞士的专业家族办公室，雷梭勒“根植瑞士，深耕中国”。深耕中国，是要有决心的，更需要有毅力。位于上海陆家嘴上海中心大厦的雷梭勒中国本土团队，24*7随时随地为中国客户提供贴心周到的服务。接地气、务实、高执行力，是我们雷梭勒团队的基因；专业专注，是我们的底色；善作善成是我们的追求！

值此新年之际，想说的太多，想做的也太多。八年沉淀，八年耕耘，2900多个日日夜夜，我们终于盼来了今天! “Now it’s our turn!” 2020年是雷梭勒的收获年，腾飞年！除了已经开展了多年深受客户认可的瑞士教育咨询、瑞士身份规划、瑞士投资等服务以外，我们还将利用我们在瑞士的稀缺资源，为中国客户提供瑞士财务顾问服务和家族办公室咨询服务。对于个人和家庭，我们将一如既往地为中国客户提供家族传承和财富管理等专业家族办公室服务，以及瑞士留学、身份规划、瑞士医疗、瑞士生活方式管理等一系列贴身的增值服务。而对于家族和企业，我们将为中国客户提供各种瑞士投资财务顾问服务，包括：1）与瑞士顶级私立贵族学校及高端抗衰老医疗品牌合作与品牌落地中国；2）家族办公室相关的家族传承诊断及设计、接班人培养与带教、家族治理等家族办公室的咨询服务。

最后，用我于苏黎世回纳沙泰尔火车上，写给团队的新年寄语，来结束我这篇致辞：
亲爱的同事们，战友们，我最最亲爱的雷梭勒小伙伴们！
时光如梭，不觉2019已经转身离开，2020正迎面走来！在中国八年的深耕，不管是天时地利还是人和，雷梭勒都已经做好了准备。
在2020这一年，去攻山头，打硬仗，在中国的家族办公室行业勇于亮剑，不惧险阻，砥砺前行！
点滴成果汇聚成河成海成大成功，大成就！成为中国家族办公室行业前三是我们的目标！
你们每个人都是过去这八年来，我大浪淘沙般从几百人里精挑细选出来，人是成事的第一要素，我很庆幸终于在人群中找到你们！
这一天，我等了很久，我坚信从此以后，这一路，有你们，我将不再孤独！
我期待与你们肩并肩，背靠背，心连心，去打仗攻山头，一起建功立业。我同样期待若干年后，与你们一起诗酒田园，品味人生！
我们每个人都是不同的，但如果每个人的最强优势最大限度的放大至至亮点，光芒汇聚，顺势而为，呈变形金刚，可上天入地下海，无所不能！

I’m a fan of New Year’s resolutions. I always like to have an excuse to sit down and reflect on what I’ve accomplished and what I want to achieve in the coming year. I could hardly believe that the 8 years of La Soleille Family Office in China went in the blink of an eye. 2019 definitely had its twists and turns for me. As always, the hours I spent from one city to another added up to 3 months, including more than 60 domestic business trips and 30 overseas ones. I am the one who drags her huge suitcase to terminals, the one who grabs a hamburger talking to her colleagues, the one living in different time zones for meetings with different parties, and the one missing Swiss Cheese when she’s in China and Chinese barbecue when she’s in Switzerland.
But it was an amazing year. It was busy and productive. It was so busy that my friends, when calling, first asked me where I was and what I was doing before they started the conversation. My friends from private banking sector even asked me for advice on how to survive this crazy busy period. They are actually the ones who should be the experts!! However, the answer is: I don’t know. I am doing it out of passion. What I know is that Family Office is my calling and that helping more Chinese families to pass down their values and wealth is meaningful to me. I am also lucky to have found my calling in Switzerland: a country I love so much. When I am in Switzerland, I feel at home. Not only for its gorgeous and breathtakingly beautiful landscapes but also for its respect and inclusiveness of different cultures and its unconditional love to foreigners.
It feels like it was yesterday when, for the first time, I was invited to Raba Bordeaux Sud (near Lausanne) to taste vintage of exquisite wines. I was astounded by the view over the Lake Leman. I could see the lush mountains with their white caps. I could see the boats that were so far away that they had become so small as if they were inviting me to reach out and touch them. I could see the bright light dancing in the dark pockets of the valley and moving gracefully on tiptoe towards the water and into the glass of wine I was holding in my hand. It was so big, so overwhelming, and I was so small.
A thought came to my mind and I posted it on Wechat to remember this moment: A day will come when I’ll leave this world. I can be back here. In this place. At this moment. Held by grace. I am home. So as an Asian Taurus person, I started my career for the country I love and for the families who need me.

La Soleille Family Office started from humble beginnings, though I had the passion to face all challenges. The first 3 years were hard for me. I remember in 2013, when no one in China knew what a family office was, I used to spend most of my time explaining to UHNW families that neither was I selling office furniture nor Microsoft office programs. In those dark days I was alone. No companion, no guidance, no encouragement, no support. It was like living in utmost darkness. My only little light was my belief: If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
Indeed, La Soleille Family Office grew like bamboo, which creeps only 3cm in its first 4 years of life, and then leaps to 15 meters in the 5th year. Bamboo won the title of the “fastest growing woody plant on earth”. It spends years expanding the root structure, developing buds into shoots and then grows at an astounding rate of 30cm per day! The growth pattern of bamboo reveals what a start-up should do and what La Soleille Family Office has done in the past 8 years.
I gave dozens of speeches to MBA students in top business schools and the most frequently asked question was: What is the secret of today’s La Soleille Family Office, which has become more popular among Chinese entrepreneurs than the family office service provided by distinguished Swiss private banks?
One word: persistence. Most of our competitors didn’t survive those early dark days. La Soleille Family Office is fortunate and proud to be deeply rooted in Switzerland, which has hundreds of years of history in private banking and in assisting international families. La Soleille works hard to serve Chinese market, with a local team standby 24/7 in Shanghai Center Tower, providing Chinese families with holistic services. We’ve made it to the top without losing the common touch. We aim high but we stay grounded. With our devotion and dedication, we make sure we achieve our goals as planned.

As we share the joy of new year, I also embrace the commitment to Chinese families in 2020. Now it’s our turn! Eight years of experience and persistence will be converted into fruitful results in the coming new year. Apart from the proven Swiss education, nationality planning and investment advisory services, La Soleille Family Office is going to take a dual role as financial advisor and family office advisor. For individuals and small families, we offer holistic services oriented in Switzerland, including studying in private schools, nationality planning, healthcare and lifestyle. For big families and family businesses, we will provide Swiss investment and financial advisory services, focusing on 2 areas: a. Introducing renowned Swiss private schools as well as best anti-aging clinics and centers to China and promoting further collaboration; b. family office services, including family succession & governance, finding & solving family pain points and training & coaching for the next generation. 2020 will be remarkable. It opens a door for La Soleille to the next phase. I am looking forward to it and am ready to embrace challenges and opportunities. I always believe that no cross, no crown. Time will tell.
At last, I want to share with you a letter I wrote to my Chinese team on the train from Zurich to Neuchatel.
Dear colleagues, my dearest friends who have always been there for me,
Time flies. 2020 is the 8th year of La Soleille Family Office in China. With 8 years of experience, I am ready to see some real change. China‘s billionaires are making history and this is a good sign for us. With your joint effort, we can be in the top 3 Family Office businesses in China. There will be challenges ahead, but I’m sure we’ll solve them as long as we work as a team. I know people becoming fat one bite at a time and we are becoming the giant one day at a time. So what we do today matters. It is the many small progresses that will make a huge difference. People are key and that’s why I found you. I always feel lucky to work with you and the success of La Soleille Family Office would not be possible without you. In the future, I hope we can have each other’s back to enter new markets and achieve higher results. Also I hope one day when we look back we can laugh and cry together. Everyone has its own strengths. So, if all of you can play with it, we can get whatever we want. Thank you so much for joining me in this special unit to conquer everything. 2020 will be remarkable and at the end of it, we’ll be proud of what we have achieved.
